Pop Tates – Powai
Its just a month old and when we visited there was no empty table around. The interiors are done up to give the look of a cozy pub with a bar, but its a family place.The televisions and music systems are played simultaneously and they both play different music loudly:). Go there if you have time to dine and stand a noisy place as the order can take uptp 30 mins.
The sizzlers are really good with large helpings of chicken pieces on top, the pizza tasted very fresh and just about melted in my mouth-yummy. Worth the wait. They pour the choclate sauce on the sizzling brownie right on the table.
The waiters looked a little too keen to clean the table tho’ and they pick up glasses and plates right after you put them down, once my hubby had to ask a waiter to give it back as he was’nt done yet! well, yes they dont ask if you are done or not. Its not a place you can hang out every day at, the choclate brownie costed Rs 76 and there is no friendly Pop tate’s around for udhar!
